Friends remember Carleton grad found dead in England recycling plant

OTTAWA — Friends are mourning the loss of a Carleton University graduate found dead at a recycling facility in England last week, mere hours after he arrived in the country to start school. Police found the body of 22-year-old Garrett Elsey, originally from Sherwood Park, Alta., in Bristol Thursday morning. He had just moved to the country to start a Master’s degree in international security a few hours earlier.
