OTTAWA — A 69 year-old pilot was taken to hospital in stable condition after his small plane went down into the Ottawa River near Cumberland. It’s unclear yet whether the pilot was trying to land the plane, an amphibious Lake LA 4200, on the Ottawa River around 4 p.m. or if it crashed.
