WENDOVER, Ont. — Three weeks premature, born with a broken leg and unable to feed, the baby zebra at the Papanack Zoo had little chance to survive. But six weeks later Melinda’s Child — that’s his official name, and we’ll get to that in a moment — is king of the kitchen in his owner’s home, walking tall and demanding attention.
