Small Business Week® 2012 Lunch & Learn Speaker Series
October 15th – 19th 12Noon to 1 pm
Main Library, 120 Metcalfe St., Auditorium​

The speakers will be of particular interest to anyone thinking of starting a small business or owning a small business. The lunch-hour sessions are free and are open to all. Friday’s session is followed by networking and refreshments.
Monday, October 15th How to Succeed as an Entrepreneur Chris Castillo of Master Entrepreneur Group is an animated speaker and serial entrepreneur. He will take you through the steps of what it takes to succeed as an entrepreneur.
Tuesday, October 16th Banking Options for Small business (a panel discussion) Four banking institutions, BDC, RBC, Ottawa Community Loan Fund and Alterna Savings offer different options for financing your business and for your business accounting. Learn what each has to offer and ask questions in a discussion on a topic of interest to all businesses: money!
Wednesday, October 17th Marketing: It’s the Why, not the How Join Jud Rasmussen of OneMarketing for a great discussion on marketing with plenty of insight from an expert.
Thursday, October 18th How to Use Social Media for Your Business This hot topic is explained clearly by Brent Mondoux of N-Vision IT Interactive. Brent’s session will empower you to use social media for your business.
Friday, October 19th Your Networking Strategy Finish the week with a new approach to networking from Lucia Harper of Your Exponential Potential. Lucia will stay afterwards to join everyone for a session of networking and refreshments from 1:00 to 2:30 pm
