Ottawa pool closures stem from failed roof deck, faulty ceiling panels

OTTAWA — Fixing a failed roof deck at the Brewer Complex is expected to cost about $400,000, the city says, while the pool remains closed until early next year. The pool, at 100 Brewer Way, near Bronson and Sunny­side avenues, is one of two shut down for “necessary maintenance” after problems were discovered.
