Traffic light needed outside Innes Road jail, visitors and employees say

A bad collision is bound to happen if traffic lights aren’t installed outside the Ottawa-Carleton Detention Centre, warn people who frequent the jail. The number of vehicles on the busy stretch outside the Innes Road facility has increased as the city’s east side grew in the four decades since the jail opened, they say.
