OTTAWA — The city’s public-health unit still hasn’t found any link between cases of serious illness and an endoscopy clinic that failed to sterilize equipment properly, says a memo to the city’s board of health. “It remains the case that no transmission of hepatitis B or C or HIV has been confirmed within the clinic where the lapse occurred,” at Dr. Christiane Farazli’s office on Carling Avenue, states the final update on the case from Dr. Isra Levy, Ottawa’s medical officer of health.
