OTTAWA — A man who bludgeoned and slashed a young woman to death after a drug binge pleaded guilty to second-degree murder Tuesday. Patrick Dunac admitted he killed 23-year-old Jessica Riopelle in March 2011. Riopelle was found dead in the shower stall of Dunac’s room at a south Bank Street motel room attached to the Diamonds strip club where she worked.
