Public-health unit seeks to review school immunization programs

OTTAWA — The city’s public-health unit wants to review programs such as school immunization clinics as it tries to vaccinate as many young people as possible in the most efficient way. Providing shots in schools leads to high rates of immunization, but has its challenges, says a staff report to the city’s board of health.
