Sgt. Steven Desjourdy trial on hold until January

OTTAWA — The trial of an Ottawa police sergeant accused of sexually assaulting a female prisoner in the police lockup won’t resume until the new year. Sgt. Steven Desjourdy’s trial will resume on Jan. 2 and continue for nearly two weeks until Jan. 11. Two further days were set on Feb. 12 and 13.
