Chianello: Lack of info about casino no deterrent for council

Talk about rolling the dice. Although the majority of our elected officials professed to be skeptical about how the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. will choose a potential new casino for us, or to be against the idea of a downtown location, or to be uncomfortable with the lack of information they had at hand, on Wednesday afternoon council voted in favour of launching a the bidding process for a new gaming facility with no restrictions whatsoever.
