Budget officer wins concessions in fight for information on Tories’ cuts

OTTAWA — Parliamentary Budget Officer Kevin Page has won a major concession in his battle with the Conservative government for information on billions in spending reductions, with four deputy ministers agreeing Wednesday to surrender details on the cuts and jobs losses in their departments.
