OCDSB eases volunteer rules to make up for teachers’ absence from sports, clubs

OTTAWA — As teachers’ self-imposed ban on coaching sports teams or leading other school activities enters its second month, the city’s largest school board is making it easier for parents to pick up the slack. The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board released details Thursday about a revised process for signing up and screening volunteers.
