Man charged with child luring after Internet sting

OTTAWA — A police officer who posed online as an underage girl helped in the arrest of a 41-year-old man who has now been charged with child luring. The sting was set up after the man posted an online ad seeking sex with a young person. The officer responded and the man then initiated a sexual conversation, police said. The man arranged for the ‘girl’ to meet come to his house for sex on Oct. 12.
