Public Works holds off on CRG ban

OTTAWA — The tide may be turning somewhat for Brian Card, the president and founder of CRG Consulting. For the past two months, Public Works officials have imposed a virtual freeze on contracting with Card’s firm, which provides millions of dollars of real estate consulting services annually. This move followed a decision by CRG to plead guilty in late July to criminal bid rigging in connection with a $5.2-million contract awarded in 2007.
