French architects to give talk on urban renewal

With several mixed-use developments in Ottawa’s future, what lessons can be learned from Lyon, France, where an ambitious new district is taking shape on the riverfront? Emmanuel Combarel and Tania Concko, French architects and urban planners, will speak about their experiences with urban renewal on Monday, Oct. 22, at 6 p.m. at the National Gallery of Canada.
