Carjacker has ‘rage problem,’ ex tells dangerous offender hearing

The one-time girlfriend of a man who carjacked the widow of a slain Ottawa police constable told his dangerous offender hearing Friday that the man once hit her in the face, and later choked her while she was pregnant. Lila MacMorran testified that Kevin Ransdell was also unpredictable and prone to sudden fits of anger.
