OTTAWA — Ottawa could see 10 new hospice beds by January to help meet a shortage of residential care for terminally-ill people. “Increasing palliative care support in our community is long overdue,” says Lisa Sullivan, the new executive director of Ottawa Hospice Services (OHS). The non-profit organization recently formed by merging the Hospice at May Court and Friends of Hospice Ottawa.
