Developer seeks leave to build taller near Carling O-Train station

OTTAWA — A major Ottawa landowner already with permission to build a 15-storey and a 19-storey building next to the Carling O-Train station is now asking to make them both 26 storeys instead. “We haven’t increased the density or the square feet one bit,” explained Arnon Corp. vice-president Michael Casey of the revision to the company’s plans. “We were going to have three buildings on the site and instead we’re going to have two.”
