OTTAWA — An elevator and annex building would be added to the former Grant School under proposed plans to create a new west-side francophone community centre. The school at 2720 Richmond Rd., near Carling Avenue, was completed in 1922 by the former Township of Nepean and has a heritage designation as a good example of a consolidated school, one that brought four one-room schools together.
