The cat rescued by firefighters from a tree in Little Italy on Sunday is recovering in the care of the Ottawa Humane Society. Eileen Barak, director of outreach for the OHS, said that while a veterinarian had not yet seen the cat, she seemed very alert Monday afternoon.
