A 68-year-old pilot of a two-seater plane was taken to hospital after his plane crashed into a cornfield in the city’s rural southwest. Ottawa Fire received a report from a nearby resident at 5:20 p.m. The resident reported a plane circling the area several times before going down in a cornfield in the area of 2932 Mackey Rd.
