A project to save money and streamline city services by putting them online continues through a draft 2013 budget approved by council’s IT subcommittee on Monday. The draft operating budget for much of the city’s technology needs calls for $52.1 million, which is about $3.5 million more than 2012. The draft capital budget is $22.5 million, about $11.1 million of which is for so-called Service Ottawa initiatives (the total Service Ottawa project would cost $14.9 million in 2013.)
