Dear International students
With the coming of the month of December there will be continual celebrations and special activities to celebrate the Christmas season. We will offer a Christmas dinner for International students on Saturday the 1st of December from 2:30 -8:00PM
Come and bring your friends for a time of games, singing, learning about the customs and the traditions of this holiday, and a typical Canadian Christmas Dinner.
We will offer pickup ONLY, from the University of Ottawa.
Meet us no later than 2:30 on the lower level of the University centre (Jock Turcot Building) by the Alumni Auditorium. Please be on time so we do not leave you behind.
We will have the games and dinner in the basement of Rideauview Bible Chapel 1249 Prince of Wales drive.
For those who can get to the following bus routes, or live near Baseline and Prince of Wales Drive, the following bus lines will be helpful
Bus 111 from Hurdman station and Billingsbridge stations stops at the door of the church just after the bus turns south on Prince of Wales Drive after crossing the Heron bridge
Bus 118 stops at the corner of Prince of Wales and Baseline and there is a short walk of 100 yards south to number 1249
Cost is 5$ per person children come free
If you have a talent and would like to sing or play a musical instrument, or sing as a group let us know when you register.
If you have clothes typical of your country please come dressed up. (this is not required)
Please e-mail Bev at FAW@primus.ca if you plan to come, and indicate if you will be at Ottawa U for pickup and if you can sing a song from your country or play a musical instrument
There will be a Christian message to explain the significance of this holiday, and some Christian songs.
