Worker in critical condition after four-storey fall at St. Paul’s University

OTTAWA — A 28-year-old man was in critical condition in hospital Wednesday evening after falling from the roof of a building on the St. Paul’s University campus. Ottawa paramedics were called to the industrial accident on Main Street at about 3:20 p.m. At the scene they found a worker who, while still conscious, had suffered life-threatening head injuries, a broken leg, fractured ribs and a collapsed lung.
