No good deal for home phone. Currently, already on 1 year commitment, $5 off/month, and total is already about $30 just for a basic phone service.

The regular fee after $2 increase should be about $40 in 2013.

(Commitment is not contract, Bell can increase the price, but I cannot cancel the phone.)

Tried all, no good deal for home phone. Good deal may be just for Internet.

$14.97/month deal should be only for new customer.

Everybody knows VOIP is not a real phone. But Bell forces customer to leave.

The $2 is applies to all Bell home phone customers, no customer can get rid of it. Happy???

VOIP is not a real phone.

Try to talk with Bell's "Loyalty" department. I heard that a lot of people got $14.97/month deal with "Bell home phone lite".

please do *NOT* mislead people here. In new construction areas, all phones are now VOIP even the service from Bell or Rogers.

固定电话 is mainly for voice message and DSL now.

Cable internet (DSL dryloop) + VOIP + prepaid cell phone will be the choice. Maybe + 3G/4G tablet/iPad if 不差钱

you can buy a cellphone to home phone bridge, when you are in home, your home phone automatically connected with your cell phone and you can make/receive phone calls from your home phone (through your cell phone line)
