请问怎么能学修车？从学徒做起？

主业是码农，虽然挣得不少也不累，但不是最喜欢的事。
从小跟父亲做了很多木工，电工活，所以特别喜欢动手的事情。
想问一下在这怎么能入这行呢？

There are a few ways you can enter this trade, below are the two common ways:

1) Go to algonquin college to take part in their motive power technician program to gain some fundmental knowledge: http://www2.algonquincollege.com/sat/program/motive-power-technician/

2) Work in a garage with licenced mechanic, work as basic worker until you show enough fundamental skills to have the mechanic to sign you up as a registered apprentice.

Well, study in Algonquin doesn't mean you will become a registered apprentice, you still need a shop with licenced mechanic to sign you up.

After sign up, you will need to at least accumulate 6000 hours and a series of tasks before you can write a nationa-wide exam.

这6000小时好像没的少，当时偶做的功课是，学徒得干四年左右

QC这边当䢖筑工还不止这个数。

8 hours a day * 5 * 52 = 2000 hours
3 years of apprentice = 6000 hours.
