Travellers out of BC, here's an opportunity to save more on future Amtrak Cascades trips to Washington and Oregon. They're now offering discounts of up to 25% when you book your travel two weeks in advance.

Here's a look at some of the one-way fares available:

• Vancouver to/from Seattle: $29
• Vancouver to/from Bellingham: $11
• Seattle to/from Portland: $24

To book travel at these rates tickets must be purchased at least 14 days prior to travel and the following blackout dates apply: December 21-23, 2012; January 1-2, 2013; November 26-27 and 30, 2013; December 1 and 20-22, 2013. Seating is limited and tickets are non refundable. For each paying adult, 1-2 children aged 2-15 may travel at half the regular adult fare.
