OTTAWA ­— While approximately 7,000 Hydro-Québec customers in the Outaouais region wait for power to be restored following outages caused by Friday’s snowstorm, Hydro Ottawa has helped return power to Chelsea, Quebec. and Arnprior, according to the companies’ communications officers. The numbers of homes without power are down from 9,000 Sunday night to around 7,000 in Outaouais Monday morning, said Mathieu Rouy, press officer at Hydro-Québec. Power should be returned to most customers by Monday night, he said.
