"if u have any other option just forget that program
it is shit"
Partially agree with you. It is not because of the professors, they are the same as regular program. But in average, the students are not good. Met some Chinese cohort students taking night class with us, because even they cannot stand some of their cohort mates. Also have some local full time students rather switch to evening class with parttime cohort, because they thought Chinese cohort students are too noisy. Once a professor complained at our class that he could not finish his teaching as scheduled at daytime class because it took him lots of time to calm the students down and even explain those questions which a MBA student should know. To keep teaching the two classes at same speed, he had to stop at where he finished with the day course. As a result, we went home one
hour early. And almost all of my friends at MBA program intentionally or unintentionally mentioned to me(Chinese) that they thought having a Chinese cohort was a bad idea which gonna destroy the OU MBA program reputation if there is no difference in degree certificate. They were afraid that graduates from Chinese Cohort would say that they are the same as regula MBA.
Personally I think that's the school's problem, they should not just think about the money they gonna make from Chinese program students, but do something to improve the program. At least they should improve the overall student quality, either change the adminission criterion or add class discipline into orientation. Hope one day "Yes Canada" can add value to OU MBA program.
