Woman dies in custody at Smiths Falls Courthouse

Smiths Falls police are investigating after a woman died in the custody of special constables after a provincial court appearance Monday. Police said Wednesday the woman collapsed while in the custody of Ontario Provincial Police special constables at the courthouse at 39 Chambers St. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
