what is "charge rate"

Last year,I took a class 2 road test, but,the examiner said, I did not check "charge rate", what is it? and, on the dash board, there are many things, I only know " gasoline full/empty". and RPM, water tank temperature. and, there are maybe some for "gasoline tank pressure", battery "temperature"?

I don't know, and I am also interested to know.
If you have driving instructor teaching you Class 2, then ask your instructor.

thanks. Class 2 is BC, for bus driver. now, I see, on the dash board, there is an indicator to show the power of battery.(that is charge rate).
