Mer Bleue cross-country ski trail closed for soil remediation project

Part of a cross-country ski trail in the Mer Bleue area of the Greenbelt is closed this winter while an old landfill is capped. A section of Trail 51 (formerly Trail 52) near Walkley and Ramsayville roads is closed while work goes on to cap and reshape a former landfill on Ridge Road with soil from a large section of LeBreton Flats. Other trails remain open.
