Dear Newcomers to Canada
The snow and cold has come again to Ottawa, but that does not mean it has to be a gloomy time in Ottawa. Join us for ‘Winter Fun’
Saturday January the 26th from 2:30 – 8:00PM
for tobogganing, tubing, and if the snow conditions are right you can make your own snow sculpture.
Pickup will be
at the University of Ottawa in the lower level of the University Centre by the Alumni Auditorium at 2:30PM
Or
At Carleton University inside the front door of the Minto Building at 2:30PM
Please be on time which means: be there before 2:30 so we can register and be ready to go to the hill at 2:30 or shortly after.
Come and bring your friends
Cost will be 5.00$
Supper will be provided-We will provide vegetarian and Halel options for those of you who have dietary restrictions.

To attend the outdoor portion of this event you must have medical insurance, and sign a waiver. When you register with me by e-mail I will send the form for you to fill out and bring with you to registration at the pick up area. DO NOT send it by e-mail.
Be sure to come dressed with hat, scarf, mitts, two layers of socks and sweaters. It can be fun if you keep warm.
There will be alternate plans in case of bad weather conditions or …if the hill is too icy to be safe.
There will be a few cars available (at any time)to take those of you who are cold or do not want to continue sliding until 4:30, to the church basement where you can warm up and play indoor games.

We are a Christian organization that offers you our friendship and who desires to introduce you to our Canadian Culture. Students of all faiths and nationalities are welcome to come.
