Great Canadian Theatre Company a step closer to $250,000 grant

The Great Canadian Theatre Company is a step closer to receiving another $250,000 from the city for help paying off its new building on Wellington Street West. On Thursday, council’s community and protective services committee swiftly approved a grant that would add to almost $1.5 million the city has provided to the project so far, according to a staff report.
