A youth pastor who had sex with a 16-year-old girl in the church basement was sentenced to a year in jail Thursday. Mark Raymer robbed a vulnerable teenage virgin of her innocence and violated his position of trust as the youth pastor at a downtown Pentecostal church when he carried on the illicit relationship with the girl over a six-month period beginning in August 2011, said Ontario Court Justice Heather Perkins-McVey.
