Abdul-wahab Zabeba failed miserably in his first attempt to gain refugee status in Canada for fear of political persecution in Yemin. But Zabeba, a former diplomat to the U.S. who abandoned the Yemeni mission and came to Canada in June 2008, says he was undeterred by Canada’s rejection in 2009.
