Victim was trying to sell pot when fatally shot, court hears

The day 16-year-old Yazdan Ghiasvand Ghiasi was fatally shot in the chest he was trying to sell six and a half pounds of marijuana, an Ottawa courtroom heard Monday. The Dec. 6, 2010 drug-deal-gone-wrong was Ghiasi’s first with his friend, Don Dao, who had been selling drugs for about two-and-a-half years.
