ice falled from the house roof and damaged my car

My friend parked his car on drive way of the house(Rent from Minto). Unfortunately, his car was damage by the falling ice from the house roof. we called the Minto service right a way and someone come took the pics and give us a report No. Before this accident happened,we called Minto (the house agency) how to remove the ice from the roof.They told us they will responce it. But now.... who do you think can take libility responce about this accident? Minto? or Car insurance? Did you know any case like this? I will appreciate.

You don't need to do so. Just call your insurance company, make an appeal, and they will cover your deduction.

u could talk to minto and try to get them to cover the deductible. it probably wont work but does not hurt to try. City wont care about this.

insurance wont cover the deductible. this is what the deductible for. u try a lower premium due to higher deductible and vice versa.
