大概经过就是， 2007年Ashbury College 组织field trip去Boston，16岁男生被sexual assault，:flaming: 非常恶劣。
The boy told the teachers that one fellow student held him down while another violated him, a third student videotaped the attack and a fourth sat on the bed and watched.

家长不仅仅起诉学生，还起诉老师，认为他们没有及时通知家长，拒绝报警。 “they tried to cover up the sexual assault ”

看到了, 挺惊讶的, 受害者的父母都是律师, 所以官司才打得下去, 否则就是自己倒霉了. 那家父母倒没有漫天要价, 就是要为孩子讨个说法吧.

是，我也挺感慨的，时间金钱和专业知识，不然就认倒霉吧。从2007拖到现在，5年了，一般家庭很难支撑。欺负人的bully太可恶了。

老师也挺可怜，婚姻孩子都受影响了。Novick told the disciplinary hearing that the case has had a “terrible impact” on her family, including on her two children who attended Ashbury and on her marriage, which ended after 16 years in the aftermath of the Boston trip.

上Ashbury的大都家住Rockcliffe大豪宅，家里不差钱的

对手也不弱，目前就一个孩子认罪，4年probation，其他孩子和老师都没定罪。老师，我觉得是有点想大事化小，但够不上定罪吧？:blink:反而那几个帮凶孩子，太可恶，应该也治罪。

我很佩服受害者父母的坚持，。时间金钱之外，意志力很强大。
