St. Albert water ban lifted, but some residents still should not drink water

The Eastern Ontario Health Unit has lifted a water ban issued to all residents of St. Albert following a fire that destroyed their iconic cheese factory. Analysis of groundwater samples retrieved last week confirmed well water is “safe for use and consumption” in most areas of the village, the health unit said in a media release.
