Planning committee approves condo at Bank and Flora

The European Glass and Paint building on Bank Street can be demolished for a nine-storey condominium at the corner of Flora Street, city council’s planning committee decided Tuesday. The building, constructed at the turn of the last century, has some heritage value but the benefits of the new condo will outweigh that, according to the city’s heritage experts.
