Schedule being ‘refreshed’ for Strandherd-Armstrong bridge, councillor says

Timelines for the Strandherd-Armstrong bridge project are being assessed after ongoing monitoring determined that additional welding work is needed, says a key city official on the file. Work on the $48-million bridge over the Rideau River has continued over the winter, but some of the welding on its arches didn’t meet city specifications, said Gloucester-South Nepean Councillor Steve Desroches.
