my daughter is 16 years old, she earned 300 dollars last year. do I need to file her income tax?

What age do we have to file the income tax, is it 18?

报税没有age限制，所有活着的公民和去年去世的住民，如果欠税局的钱，必须报税；如果不欠钱，比如你女儿的情况，报税是义务，不是必需的。
18岁以后(还是19岁？记不清)，低收入/无收入的报税会拿到HST退税，不报也不违法，只是拿不到钱而已。
