Man in hospital after electric shock on McDonald’s rooftop

A man in his 30s was clinging to life late last night after apparently suffering an electric shock while working on a refrigeration unit on the roof of a McDonald’s restaurant on the corner of Meadowlands Drive and Prince of Wales Drive at around 11:30 p.m. The man, who has not been identified, was rushed to the Civic campus of the Ottawa Hospital in critical condition after suffering a cardiac arrest.
