A Canadian solder who had sex with three women without telling them he had herpes had a charge of possessing child pornography withdrawn Thursday after a prosecutor conceded there was no reasonable prospect of convicting him. Master Cpl. Mathew Wilson, 36, had been set to stand trial on the charge, but the Crown instead elected not to proceed.
