Mother arrested at courthouse after children abandoned in apartment

A mother wanted for questioning after three young children were abandoned in a Vanier apartment was led out of an Ottawa courtroom in handcuffs Friday. The crying woman hugged and kissed a supporter before two officers took her into custody. The tidy-looking woman, who had dark curly hair and wore a dark hooded jacket and peach-coloured blouse, had her hands cuffed behind her back.
