We are looking for someone (or two, or three, depending on your situation) to take over our lease with Reality District (I promise you it is the best property management company in Ottawa, you will see). The lease ends in May 31 and you can either renew the lease for a half-year or a full year, or just live in the unit for a month to month basis.
We are not trying to sell anything to you or make a profit from you. The rent was $1,050 when we signed the lease, and will still be $1,050 for you if you want to take it over. (The official lease document can be presented to you if you request.) There is no extra cost on your end, and you can share the cost with potential roommates. If you need a parking space, it is $40 per month.
Apartment:
Why is it an awesome apartment? The apartment is on the 19th floor, which has a perfect view of the St Laurent and nearby parks. It has two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, and a bathroom (Capable for three people living inside). There is no late rent payment charge, no cost of using electricity or water, with a doorman on the first floor main entrance 7*24, with management office opening 7 days a week, and a gym and laundry facilities in the basement floor.
Environment:
The Elmvale shopping center is just a road across, with Loblaws, RBC, BMO, Starbucks, Pizza Pizza, Fido, LCBO, Rexall, Canada Post, Pet Valu, and dozens of other stores nearby. Bus stop is in front of the shopping mall, with 86, 114, 106, and totally about 10 routes. (Google 1971 St Laurent and you will find out how convenient it is.)
Why:
Why we are offering this is because we are students going to relocate for work purpose, and thinking there must be folks out there looking for cheap apartments without signing a 1-year fixed lease. (We will still be working in Ottawa. So we will not run away afterwards.)
Again, take over this nice apartment and pay for your accommodation monthly, without worries of signing a fixed-term lease.
