Construction worker sentenced three years for sex assaults

A man who tried to rape a babysitter before forcing himself on another woman in a similar manner was sentenced Friday to three years in prison for sex assault. Joseph Dow, 42, was found guilty by a jury in December of attacking the babysitter in June 2008 following a trial where he represented himself. The construction worker and concrete finisher pleaded guilty to the second attack on another woman in November 2009 on Friday.
