why Toyota or Honda, how about Buick?

buick is a good car,but

this car is not good due to the unbelievable mileage. the price for 2000 buick century of cource is not high,but 120000km in only 3 or 4 years, the car must be over used. many problems will occur in the future.

Buick is a very safety car. Centry is an economic model, 3.1L V6 is very good on gas.
But for used cars, Buick is not the best choice for it's price, especially for this one you list here.
If you buy a "0" milage Jap car for last year model, the price decrease 2000~3000, but for Buick only 50, it's too "BAO ZHI".
Some Buick (Lesabre) 's milage are very low for they are owned by aged ladies, an old buick next to my Centry in the parking lot, haven't been moved for more than 1 year(haha, that's why Buick's insurance are so low, too many "safe" drivers in this town).
Why not try a new one? 0 financing rate for 5 years or more than 3000 Cash down.
3~5 years warranty is worth a big money too.

50 yeays before, presdent Jiang JieShi's offical car was Buick, which was showed in NanJing last year, and now, the current canadian gov general use Buick too.

I guess you think Buick is totally a good car although the used car i mentioned is not a worthy deal.
BTW, could you give me specific detail about a nice used Buick, such as price, milage etc. Or,if i buy a new century, how about the monthly payment?

But the price is too high. If I buy it again now, I believe I don't need the rust protection plan(near 1000), and the total price should cut down another 1000.

Another option is pay all in cash, a Special edition centry is only about 24000(or lower, that price is even lower than a "loaded" LE Corrola and a Civic, but you get a great midsize car with tons of lovely safety features including auto dimming mirrors and traction control, Even an free On star GPS service set if you are lucky, that's more than enough for a family car), if you don't have enough cash, borrow from a third part, may be the total price is better than the 0 financing rate by GMAC, financing always means money even the "0" rate(that worth 3000CAD).

Olds Intrigue and Pontiac Grand Am V6 are simular cars.
3~ 4years used car is also good if you can get less than 13500, but most thesecars are sell at 14000~17000 if they are in good condition.
For centry, Custom model is not recommand, no fun at all. Special edition and Limited are good models. Limited is a little bit expensive. Special Edition is a loaded Cumstom model, but get a great discount by GM.
